New LTE router: AVM officially unveils FRITZ!Box 6850 LTE
FRITZ!Box 6850 LTE is a new sim card lte router by AVM for mobile internet. The device is an alternative to classic fixed-line connections with DSL and fiber optics.
New AVM FRITZ!Box 6850 LTE is designed for all places where there is no high-speed DSL or fiber connection. The device enables high-speed Internet via LTE network with transmission speeds of up to 150 Mbit/sec. Of course, it always depends on the network coverage and possible speed.
To ensure the widest possible coverage, the router supports ten LTE and three UMTS frequencies, and also supports roaming for surfing on all mobile networks. There is also an intelligent alignment aid that helps users find the optimal location and best alignment of cellular antennas.
FRITZ!Box 6850 LTE then distributes mobile Internet to its surroundings via WiFi network. Here the device is transmitting on both frequencies (dual-band WiFi 2 × 2 AC + N). In addition, the user has four Gigabit LAN ports for wired devices. There is also an integrated USB port for connecting min. data carriers and DECT for DECT phones and smart home devices.
