Controlling the FRITZ Smart Home System! can be implemented in three ways: from the web configurator of the FRITZ Router!Box, in the FRITZ app!Smart Home app and with the help of buttons equipped with the smart home devices. An extension of the latter method is FRITZ DECT 440 - Smart Home portable control panel.

FRITZ DECT 440 programmable buttons

FRITZ!The DECT 440 has four, programmable buttons that can be assigned various actions: power control of devices, connected to the network via the FRITZ smart plug!DECT 200, room temperature management. The panel has a built-in e-paper screen that can display the current room temperature and humidity. Also integrated with the device is a local temperature measurement, the readings of which can be used by the FRITZ smart thermostat!DECT 301.

With the FRITZ!The DECT 440 can also customize the room lighting according to current requirements by assigning the FRITZ DECT 440 programmable buttons to control the FRITZ smart bulb!DECT 500.

FRITZ panel!The DECT 440, which allows you to control your smart home, can be attached, for example, to the wall with double-sided adhesive tape or a magnet, but it will work just as well as a portable remote control, as it is battery-powered, and the energy-efficient DECT ULE technology makes the battery last for many months of operation.

Logging a new device into the system is easy. In the FRITZ configurator!Box simply enter registration mode and press the menu button on the panel. Once the device is registered, all its functions are set once from the router, and they can be activated with just the press of a selected button.
